English language: IELTS: 6.0 (with at least 5.5 in each skills area)
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, combining mathematical foundations with data science and artificial intelligence. Core topics include Statistical Methods for Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Programming, Data Analysis, and Research Methods. Students may undertake an optional placement year between years two and three, and complete an independent project in their final year allowing selection from staff-proposed topics or student-generated ideas.
