About this course

BA (Hons) in Education Studies and Economics, combining educational theory with economic analysis. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, and Policy Analysis. The programme offers an optional year-long Economics placement between the second and third year, alongside education placements of 12 days in professional educational settings. A final-year Applied Economics Project requires students to undertake a small-scale research project applying statistics, data collection and analysis.
