BA Anthropology with Foundation
About this course
BA (Hons) Anthropology with Foundation is a preparatory foundation year leading into an undergraduate degree in anthropology. The foundation year is delivered by academic tutors from Durham's Centre for Academic Development and is aimed at students from under-represented groups in higher education who do not currently hold the qualifications required for standard entry. Eligibility criteria apply. The content develops understanding of how knowledge is constructed within the degree programme, together with metacognitive skills and independent learning, becoming more specialised as the course progresses. On successful completion of the Foundation Year, students progress to the first year of BA Anthropology.
