Entry requirements

A level: AAB and a grade 6/B or above in GCSE Mathematics (if Mathematics is not studied at A-Level) IB: 35 with 665 in higher-level subjects, including Mathematics. If you are not taking Mathematics at higher level, we can accept standard level Mathematics at grade 5.

About this course

BSc (Hons) in Marketing and Management (with study abroad) sits within the broader field of business and management and marketing, pairing marketing study with financial, entrepreneurial and strategic management components. Core topics include marketing, human behaviour, research methods, data analysis, artificial intelligence and machine learning, entrepreneurship, and ethics and professional practice. Students spend the third year abroad at a partner university, and the final year offers a choice between Dissertation in Marketing and Behavioural Science Marketing Project. The first year covers foundations through Marketing Professionals, Marketing Principles, Managing Behaviour and Organisations and Introduction to Digital Marketing. The second year develops communication, behavioural and research capability through Integrated Marketing Communications, Behavioural Science for Marketers, Marketing Research Methods and Social Marketing, Ethics and Sustainability. Optional second-year modules have included Branded Identity, Culture and Society, Applied Brand Strategy and Digital Marketing: Tools and Techniques. The third year is spent studying abroad at one of the partner universities. The final year combines Business Analytics for Artificial Intelligence with a choice between Dissertation in Marketing and Behavioural Science Marketing Project, alongside optional modules spanning Retail and Services Marketing, Global Marketing, Consumer Power and Influencer Marketing Strategies.
