A level: BBC-BBB IB: We are happy to accept IB qualifications which achieve the required number of UCAS Tariff points. Subject-specific requirements at Higher Level (HL) Grade 5 may apply.
About this course
BSc (Hons) Biology, covering the study of living organisms from molecules to ecosystems. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Fieldwork, Data Analysis, and Communication & Writing. The programme holds Royal Society of Biology accreditation (pending reaccreditation) and offers funded overseas fieldwork. A final-year research dissertation is compulsory, with optional study-abroad or industrial placement year pathways.
