A level: BBC-BBB IB: We are happy to accept IB qualifications which achieve the required number of UCAS Tariff points. Subject-specific requirements at Higher Level (HL) Grade 5 may apply.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biosciences, covering molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, biochemistry and microbiology. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Fieldwork, Environmental Analysis, Data Analysis, and Statistics. The programme includes a final-year research project, biotechnology industry visits, and access to scanning electron microscopes, DNA extraction laboratories and a specialist microbiology suite.
