A level: BBC-BBB IB: We are happy to accept IB qualifications which achieve the required number of UCAS Tariff points. Subject-specific requirements at Higher Level (HL) Grade 5 may apply.
About this course
BA (Hons) History, covering periods from the medieval era through to the contemporary world. Core topics include Research Methods, Historical Research, and Social & Cultural Analysis. The final-year Independent Study Project allows students to choose between a written dissertation, a documentary, or a public history project. A placement-based module offers the option to apply historical skills to public-facing projects at museums, archives, or schools.
