A level: BCC-BBC IB: We are happy to accept IB qualifications which achieve the required number of UCAS Tariff points. Subject-specific requirements at Higher Level (HL) Grade 5 may apply.
About this course
BA (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science, with a focus on physical education teaching and children's physical activity and health. Core topics include Research Methods, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Human Behaviour. The course includes an 80-hour professional work placement and is endorsed against CIMSPA professional standards, with students gaining CIMSPA membership for the duration of the degree. A final-year dissertation offers the opportunity to conduct independent research in a specialist area.
