About this course

MA (Hons) in Architecture BA/, an architecture and architectural history and heritage degree centred on design, technology and environmental practices. Core topics include Fieldwork and Ethics & Professional Practice. Students can choose between a three-year BA or a four-year MA (Hons) degree, both of which are professionally accredited. The first year introduces the principles of architectural design, technology, environmental practices and architectural history. The second year involves more complex urban contexts, building briefs and a field trip to a European city. The third year covers architectural theory, professional practice and logistics. The final year includes an immersive design project with another architectural design studio and the preparation of an academic portfolio.
