About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences, a biomedical science and biological sciences degree focused on human health and disease. Core topics include Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students build understanding in the first two years before selecting specialist courses in year three and final-year specialisms including anatomy and development, reproductive biology, pharmacology, neuroscience, and infectious diseases. The first year covers medical biology, molecular and cellular biology, and biomedical sciences. The second year progresses through Biomedical Sciences 2, Cells to Organisms 2, and Microorganisms, Infection & Immunity 2. Year three advances to Biomedical Sciences 3.
