About this course

MA (Hons) in Celtic and Scottish History, a Celtic and History degree exploring the languages, literatures and cultures of the Celtic world alongside Scottish history. Core topics include Historical Research. The programme offers a choice of pathways including a Scottish Gaelic language pathway and a Celtic civilisation pathway. The first year covers Celtic Civilisation 1A: Barbarians, Saints and Scholars alongside Celtic Civilisation 1B: Domination, Dislocation and Defiance. The second year features Heroes, Wonders, Saints and Sagas and Songs, Swords, Rebels and Revivals.
