About this course
BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering, a chemical engineering degree centred on the design and operation of chemical processes and sustainable technologies. Core topics include Project Management. This course is available as a three-year or four-year study route, incorporating alignment with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The first year focuses on building foundational competencies through confidence, advanced thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The second year progresses to separation processes, fluid mechanics, chemistry and materials, and thermodynamics. The third year covers thermodynamics and unit operations, heat, mass and momentum transfer, and process dynamics and control. The fourth year concludes with advanced studies including engineering project management, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering.
