About this course

BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, a chemistry degree exploring the structures, properties, and interactions of atoms, molecules, and ions. Core topics include Research Methods. Students take chemistry lectures and laboratory classes in the Nucleus building during the first year, supported by tutorials. The second year features compulsory study in Biological Chemistry 2, Environmental Chemistry, and Chemical Pharmacology, with options to choose courses from other disciplines. The final year includes a final-year research project or a science education project.
