About this course
BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, a computer science degree focusing on the design and implementation of computing systems. Core topics include Programming, Computer Architecture, Data Analysis, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete this course over four years. The first year covers information processing, computer programming, problem solving, and professional practices. The second year introduces software development, data science, algorithms, computer systems, and ethics. The third and final year provides practical project work involving robotics, computer security, machine learning and AI, computer systems and networks, and software engineering.
