About this course
MA (Hons) in Economics with Management Science, an economics and business and management degree centred on analytical models and economic theory. Core topics include Programming, Statistics. The programme combines economic study with fundamental management science techniques across four years of undergraduate study. The first year covers introductory economic concepts through Economics 1A and Economics 1B alongside four further courses. The second year introduces Statistical Methods for Economics, Business Analytics and Information Systems, Economics 2A, and Economics 2B. The third year advances into Topics in Microeconomics, Topics in Macroeconomics, Essentials of Econometrics, Applications of Econometrics, and Management Science and Operations Analytics. The final year concludes with choices such as Mathematical Programming in Advanced Analytics or Decision Analytics, a business studies honours course, and two economics honours courses.
