About this course

MA (Hons) in French and Philosophy, a French and Francophone Studies and Philosophy degree exploring linguistic proficiency alongside historical and contemporary philosophical enquiry. The programme includes a compulsory third year spent abroad through study, work placements, or language assistant schemes. The first year covers introductory subjects such as resistance and collaboration, the Fifth Republic, colonisation and decolonisation, morality and value, and logic.
