About this course
MA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture, a landscape architecture degree focused on environmental design and spatial practice across natural and urban settings. The course spans five years of studio projects and theoretical study. The first year introduces foundational principles through Design: Context and Grounding, Design: Site and Process, Landscape Theories: Critical Zones, and Landscape Theories: Histories. The second year progresses to advanced studio work with Design: Terrain and Ecologies and Design: City and Habitation. The third year continues with Design: Practices of Reclamation, which addresses post-industrial site challenges, and Design: Practices of Speculation, which investigates future landscape priorities.
