About this course
LLB (Hons) in Law and History, a law and history degree centred on the study of legal systems alongside historical periods and themes. Core topics include Legal Analysis. Over four years of study, students take a range of courses from both the Law School and the history department. The first year covers foundational topics through Scottish Legal System, Contract Law, Public Law of the UK and Scotland, and European Union Law alongside historical periods. The second year progresses to Property Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, and Evidence. The third year continues with International Law, Property Law, Family Law, and Criminology.
