About this course
LLB (Hons) in Law and Social Policy, a social policy and law degree spanning both disciplines across four years. Core topics include Legal Analysis. The curriculum combines subjects from the Law School and the School of Social and Political Science. The first year covers the foundations through Scottish Legal System, Contract Law, Public Law of the UK and Scotland, and Politics of the Welfare State. The second year progresses to Property Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, and Business Entities. The third year explores Advanced Legal Writing, International Law, Criminology, and social inequalities.
