About this course
LLB (Ord) in Law (Ordinary and Honours), a law degree centred on the study of Scots law and legal systems. Core topics include Legal Analysis. The programme meets the requirements of the Law Society of Scotland and the Faculty of Advocates. The first year introduces the foundations through Scottish Legal System, Critical Legal Thinking, Contract Law and Family Law. The second year covers Property Law, Jurisprudence, Public Law and Individual Rights and Delict. The third year continues with Commercial Law, International Law, Property Law and Family Law.
