About this course

MA (Hons) in Spanish and Business, a business and management and spanish, portuguese and latin american studies degree encompassing language and commercial training. Core topics include Entrepreneurship. The four-year programme includes an academic year abroad spent studying or working, during which students complete an independent research project on a contemporary business issue. The first year covers the foundations through strategy, finance, marketing and people management. The second year focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship, organisation studies, international business and business analytics. The third year involves studying or working abroad through options such as study in one or two destinations, work in one or two destinations, study in one destination and work in another, two semesters at a single institution, one semester at two different institutions (in different destinations), arrange to work or volunteer with a private company or charity, or apply to an established placement scheme, such as the British Council’s English Language Assistants programme. The fourth year spans film, literature, history, politics, language, linguistics and media and cultural production, alongside three honours-level business courses.
