About this course
MA (Hons) in Spanish and History, a degree in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies and History and History. Students spend the third year abroad studying or working in one or two destinations. The first year covers history alongside options such as linguistics and language sciences, and philosophy, divinity and law. Second-year choices include Cultural Responses to War, Migration, Exile, Diaspora, and Crime and Detection in Literature. The third year involves a period abroad through study at an institution or work or volunteering placements. In the final year, advanced study spans film, literature, history, politics, language, linguistics, and media and cultural production.
