The first year covers multiple subject areas through modules such as linguistics and language sciences, art and architectural history, and history, classics and archaeology. The second year examines thematic approaches via modules including Cultural Responses to War, Migration, Exile, Diaspora, Crime and Detection in Literature, and Gender and Culture. The third year consists of an international period abroad, offering options to study at a single institution or split time across two destinations, as well as working or volunteering placements.
