About this course
BA in Classical Studies, a classics degree centred on the history, literature, philosophy and languages of ancient Greece and Rome. The first year covers foundational studies through Greek and Roman Narrative, Greek and Roman Drama, Ancient World: Greek Philosophy, and Ancient World: Roman Philosophy, alongside optional modules such as Ancient World: Racecraft and Roman Death and Commemoration. The second year continues disciplinary training with Classical Language and Texts: Greek II, Classical Language and Texts: Greek IV, Classical Language and Texts: Latin II, and Classical Language and Texts: Latin IV.
