About this course
BA in International Business and Modern Languages, a business and management and modern languages degree combining commercial expertise with linguistic proficiency. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Accounting, Historical Research, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Language & Translation, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Students can learn Chinese, French, Spanish, or German from beginner or advanced levels, supported by a triple-accredited Business School, with an option to spend a year abroad. The first year introduces organizational theory, management skills, and international business contexts alongside language modules such as French Language, German Language, Spanish Language, and Beginners Chinese. In the second year, students build on these foundations through compulsory studies in Organisational Behaviour, International Business, Intercultural Communication, and advanced language courses including French Language, Written and Oral, German Language, Written and Oral, and Spanish Language, Written and Oral. Optional modules across the degree span topics in cultural history, literature, philosophy, and specialized business areas.
