About this course
BA in International Relations, a politics and international relations degree centred on the study of global politics, international organisations, and political structures. Core topics include Policy Analysis, Research Methods, Data Analysis, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course features an opportunity to specialise in a particular region or special subject. The first year covers core foundations through compulsory modules such as Globalisation of World Politics, The Challenges of World Politics in the Twenty-First Century, and International Politics of the Global South, alongside optional choices including Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Data Analysis in Social Science 1. The second year advances into deeper theoretical and structural analysis through compulsory modules including Contemporary Theories of World Politics, The Politics of the World Economy, Security Studies, and Introduction to Research Design in Politics and International Relations. Optional modules allow students to explore diverse areas such as American Politics, Foreign Policy Analysis, and Data Analysis in Social Science 3.
