About this course

BEng in Engineering, an engineering degree exploring fundamental and applied principles across diverse technical disciplines. Core topics include Programming, Circuit Design, Computer Architecture, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students choose a specialism in the second year following a shared introductory foundation. The first year covers core theory and practical skills through compulsory modules such as Engineering Mathematics and Scientific Computing, Multi-Disciplinary Group Challenge Project, Fundamentals of Mechanics, and Fundamentals of Materials. Students also study Fundamentals of Electronics and Fundamentals of Engineering to build a broad technical base in modern systems.
