About this course
BSc Business and Environment (Cornwall), a business and management and geography degree centred on corporate responsibility and environmental sustainability. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Fieldwork, Project Management, Accounting, Environmental Analysis, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme is delivered on the Penryn campus in Cornwall. The first year covers foundational principles through Accounting, Understanding Work and Organisations, Environment, Society and Business, Global Issues in Environmental Science, Introduction to Data Science, and A Legal Foundation for Environmental Protection, alongside optional modules such as Earth System Science, Biodiversity and its Conservation, and Power, Inequality and Global Justice. The second year progresses to advanced themes via Business Practice (Placement/Work Experience Project), Strategic Concepts for Business, Research Inquiry for Practice, Ecological Economics, Circular Enterprise Economy, and Environmental Regulation and Redress.
