About this course

BSc in Business and Management, a business management degree exploring organisations, operational processes, and commercial strategy. Core topics include Systems Design, Control Systems, Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Project Management, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and Global & Comparative Perspective. Students gain access to a student startup incubator programme provided by SETsquared Exeter. The first year covers core subjects through Introduction to Accounting, Economics for Management, Fundamentals of Marketing, Statistics for Business, Discovering Management Theory, and Discovering Skills for Management. The second year focuses on advanced business operations with compulsory modules such as Managerial Accounting, Operations Management, Human Resource Management, and Organisational Behaviour. Optional modules in later stages allow students to either pursue a broad curriculum or specialise in specific commercial disciplines.
