About this course
BSc in Mathematics with Finance, a degree in mathematics and economics combining quantitative methods with financial theory. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, and Financial Analysis. Delivered jointly by the mathematics department and the business school, the programme includes an option to complete a year in industry at corporate organisations. The first year covers core topics through Introduction to Finance, Economics I, Foundations, and Mathematical Methods. The second year builds competence with Microeconomics II and Financial Markets and Decisions I, alongside optional modules such as Differential Equations, Real Analysis, and Linear Algebra.
