BSc Physics with Quantum Technology
About this course
BSc in Physics with Quantum Technology, a physics degree centred on modern applications of quantum physics within the field of physics. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, and Mathematical Modelling. The course includes access to specialist facilities such as advanced research and teaching labs, an observatory, and computer labs. The first year covers fundamental mechanics, mathematics, and computing through Physics of Everyday Life, Mathematics Skills, and Computational Data Analysis, alongside practical training in Experimental Physics. The second year progresses to core theoretical and laboratory concepts through From Fields to Quanta, Mathematics for Physicists, and Experimental Physics II. Optional modules in the second year allow students to explore areas such as Scientific Programming in C, The Physics of Living Systems, Observing the Universe, and Analytical and Chaotic Dynamics.
