The LLB in English Law and French Law/Master 1 (Maîtrise en Droit) is a law degree focused on comparative legal systems. Core topics include Research Methods, Legal Analysis, Policy Analysis, Critical & Analytical Thinking, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students spend the first three years studying in Exeter, including foundation courses in French law taught and assessed in French by qualified French lawyers, before completing the final year at the University of Rennes I.
