About this course
LLB in Law, a law degree centred on the study of legal principles and systems. Core topics include Legal Analysis, Policy Analysis, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students can participate in pro bono opportunities through the Exeter Law Projects programme. The first year introduces the legal system and foundational subjects through modules such as Criminal Law, The Law of Contract, Constitutional and Administrative Law, and Legal Foundations. The second year continues with compulsory study in areas including The Law of Torts, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, and European Union Law. Optional modules allow students to explore topics such as Competition Law, Jurisprudence, Supreme Court Studies, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
