About this course
LLB in Law with Professional Placement, a law degree centred on the study of legal systems, rights and regulations. Core topics include Legal Analysis, Policy Analysis, Critical & Analytical Thinking. Students complete a professional placement year with a law firm, in-house legal team or industry during the course. The first year covers the foundations through Criminal Law, The Law of Contract, Constitutional and Administrative Law, and Legal Foundations. The second year focuses on civil wrongs and property obligations with modules such as The Law of Torts, Land Law, Equity and Trusts, and European Union Law, alongside preparation for the placement year. Optional modules allow students to explore areas such as Competition Law, Jurisprudence, Supreme Court Studies, and Alternative Dispute Resolution.
