A level: AAB or BBB (Additional requirements: A-level Mathematics.) IB: 34 (6,5,5) (Additional requirements: HL Mathematics (Analysis & Approaches).) Scottish Higher: BBBB is the minimum requirement from S5 to be reviewed for an S6 offer Offers are not guaranteed to applicants who meet the minimum from S5 Typically offers will be made at AAAAA by end of S6. B at Advanced HighUnibuddyer is equivalent to A at Higher Additional requirements: Higher Mathematics and a Higher Science subject at AA (AB may be considered). About this course
BSc in Accounting & Mathematics, a mathematics and accounting and finance degree centred on the combination of numerical and business analytical techniques. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Mathematical Modelling, and Accounting. This degree offers exemptions from certain professional accountancy examinations. The first year covers foundational concepts through compulsory modules such as Mathematics 1, Finance 1, Financial Accounting 1, Management Accounting 1: A Business Decision Emphasis, Statistics 1Y: Introduction to Statistics: Learning from Data, and Statistics 1Z: Data Modelling in Action. The second year expands into broader subjects through courses including Mathematics 2A: Multivariable Calculus, Mathematics 2B: Linear Algebra, Mathematics 2C: Introduction To Real Analysis, Mathematics 2D: Mathematical Methods and Modelling, Mathematics 2E: Mechanics, Mathematics 2F: Groups, Transformations and Symmetries, Financial Accounting 2, Management Accounting 2: Organisational Performance, and Introductory Economics. The third year focuses on advanced study via compulsory modules such as Algebra, Mathematical methods, Metric spaces and basic topology, Advanced financial accounting practices, and Audit theory and practice.
