About this course

BSc in Accounting and Statistics & Data Analytics, a mathematics and statistics and accounting and finance degree centred on quantitative techniques and business theory. Core topics include Statistics, Research Methods, Financial Analysis, and Accounting. The programme offers exemptions for some professional accountancy exams. Throughout the degree, students build a foundation in business and quantitative subjects. The first year covers foundational concepts through Finance 1, Financial Accounting 1, Introduction to Management, and Introductory Economics. The second year introduces more specialised methods through Finance 2, Financial Accounting 2, Statistical Analysis and Methods, and Management Accounting 2: Organisational Performance. In the final year, students undertake an independent project via Accounting and Finance Dissertation, alongside advanced study in areas such as Advanced Financial Accounting, Auditing, and Corporate Finance.
