About this course
BEng/MEng in Electronics with Music, an electrical and electronic engineering and music degree combining the study of modern electronics with musical practice. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, and Computer Architecture. Students complete a major individual project in their final year. The first year covers fundamentals through compulsory modules such as Electronic Engineering 1X, Electronic Engineering 1Y, Engineering Mathematics 1, and Listening in Culture. The second year progresses with Analogue Electronics 2, Digital Electronics 2, Electrical Circuits 2, and Electronic Design Project 2 alongside Embedded Processors 2. Year three includes Communication Systems 3, Control 3, Electronic System Design 3, and Team Design Project EE3. The final year features Acoustics and Audio Technology 4 and the Individual Project 4.
