About this course
BSc in Environmental Science & Sustainability (Dumfries campus), an environmental science degree centred on global environmental issues, ecological processes and sustainability options. Core topics include Research Methods and Fieldwork. Accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences, the programme places practical experience at its core and utilises an 85-acre campus as a living laboratory. The first year covers foundational concepts through Introduction To Global Environmental Issues, Earth System Science, Water, Natural Hazards and Resilience, and Energy, Waste and Pollution: Options for Sustainability.
