Entry requirements

A level: (Three A-levels at Grades AAA which include Geography and a Science attained in one exam year and at the first attempt.) IB: (38 points with three Higher Level subjects at 6,6,6 including Geography and a Science.) Scottish Higher: BBBB is the minimum requirement from S5 to be reviewed for an S6 offer Advanced Highers: AAB including Geography and a Science attained in one exam year and at the first attempt. Applicants must also meet the standard offer threshold (see Geography ) with S5 grades to be considered for faster route.

About this course

BSc in Geography (faster route), a geography degree focused on human and physical landscapes, environmental challenges, and spatial interrelationships. The three-year accelerated structure provides high-achieving school leavers with an additional week of induction activities during welcome week to prepare for the programme. Year 2 covers core study through Geography 2. Year 3 involves advanced compulsory study through Geographical Techniques, Geographic Thought, and Research Skills.
