About this course
BSc/MSci in Statistics & Data Analytics (faster route), a statistics and data analytics degree centered on quantitative analysis and computational techniques. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, Statistics, and Mathematical Modelling. High-achieving students joining straight from school can complete the honours degree in three years or the MSci degree in four years. The second year covers foundational theory through compulsory modules such as Foundations of Mathematics, Mathematics 2A: Multivariable Calculus, Mathematics 2B: Linear Algebra, and Statistics 2R: Probability. The third year builds advanced competence with compulsory options including Statistical Inference, Regression Models, Statistical Programming in R and Python, and Data Skills & Consultancy. Students also complete a Statistics Project.
