About this course
BSc in Statistics (in partnership with ZUEL), a statistics degree focused on quantitative methods and data interpretation. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, and Statistics. The curriculum concludes with an independent statistics project. The third year establishes advanced mathematical foundations through modules such as Statistical Inference, Regression Models, Statistical Programming in R and Python, and Biostatistics. Students also examine Multivariate Methods, Stochastic Processes, Generalised Linear Models, and Time Series (Level H). Additional compulsory study covers Principles of Designed Experiments and Surveys, Data Skills & Consultancy, Communication Skills and Ethics, and Bayesian Statistics. The final fourth year advances specialisation via Principles of Probability and Statistics, Advanced Bayesian Methods, Flexible Regression, and Linear Mixed Models. This stage also includes Advanced Data Analysis alongside the capstone Statistics Project.
