Entry requirements

Entry requirements Typical Offers 128 UCAS tariff points, ABB at A levels including a grade B or above in Biology, Human Biology or PE. DDD at BTEC when the core subject is science-based, or a Distinction in your T-Level in a science based subject. Access to HE Diploma from a QAA recognised Access to HE course in a science-based subject or Health Professions. Applicants required to meet 128 tariff points (example of achieving this would be 30 distinctions and 15 merits). Entry to this course is by interview. An understanding of the Physiotherapist role and evidence of work experience in Physiotherapy or similar caring is also useful. Additional requirements English Language and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required. Disclosure and Barring Service Clearance You must declare at the point of application and interview any criminal convictions (spent and otherwise), as this will determine your eligibility to progress through the application process. Once you have been offered and accepted a place on your programme, you will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (adult and child workforce) and send a copy of the DBS certificate to our admissions team. If you have any criminal convictions, a risk assessment will be undertaken to determine your suitability for the programme and profession. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Core topics include Research Methods and Clinical Skills. Clinical placements run throughout the course, with an introductory placement in the first year and six-week blocks in the second and third years. The course is approved by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Students complete an independent project in their final year.
