About this course

BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science, focusing on participant development in sports teaching and coaching. Core topics include Research Methods, Project Management, and Ethics & Professional Practice. Placements are embedded in years 2 and 3, and students complete a 50-hour professional practice activity. The course explores five themes: inclusion, equity and inequality, identity and self, curriculum and pedagogy, governance and management, and growth development and maturation.
