Entry requirements Typical Offers 104 UCAS tariff points, BCC at A levels, DMM at BTEC or a Pass (C or above) in your T-Level. Entry to this course is by interview. GCSE English Language and Maths GCSE English Language and Mathematics at grade 4 (C) or above, or an equivalent qualification. If you don’t have a traditional GCSE, get in touch with our admissions team who will be able to advise you. Disclosure and Barring Service Clearance You must declare at the point of application and interview any criminal convictions (spent and otherwise), as this will determine your eligibility to progress through the application process. Once you have been offered and accepted a place on your programme, you will need to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (adult and child workforce) and send a copy of the DBS certificate to our admissions team. If you have any criminal convictions, a risk assessment will be undertaken to determine your suitability for the programme and profession. All successful applicants MUST complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and this is at the applicant’s expense. About this course
BSc (Hons) in Social Work, examining how social workers assess, support and safeguard individuals, families and communities. Core topics include Research Methods, Ethics & Professional Practice, Social & Cultural Analysis, and Global & Comparative Perspective. The programme includes 170 days of practice placement across approved agencies, and is recognised by Social Work England, enabling graduates to apply for professional registration.
