About this course

BSc (Hons) in Zoology, covering the biology, evolution and ecology of animals. Core topics include Statistics, Laboratory Techniques, Research Methods, Fieldwork and Project Management. The course offers a placement year option in a four-year format, with assessment based entirely on coursework. Students progress from UK-based field training in Year 1 to overseas field research in Year 2 and professional placements in Year 3, and complete a final-year Zoology dissertation.
