Entry requirements
A level: BBC (Chemistry and Maths, with both at B) IB: 29 points. Must include Chemistry and Maths, both at Higher Level 5. Highers: AABB (over two sittings). Must include Chemistry and Maths with one at A. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Chemistry and Maths. HNC: A in graded unit. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Chemistry and Maths. HND: BB in graded unit. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Chemistry and Maths.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering. The programme is a four-year degree, with the option to transfer to the five-year MEng at the end of the fourth year. The final year includes a group project, and students receive IChemE membership funded by the department.
