Entry requirements
A level: BBB (Chemistry and Maths, with both at B) IB: 30 points. Must include Chemistry and Maths, both at Higher Level 5. Highers: AAAB (over two sittings). Must include Chemistry and Maths with one at A. BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Chemistry and Maths. HNC: A in graded unit. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Chemistry and Maths. HND: BB in graded unit. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Chemistry and Maths.
About this course
MEng in Chemical Engineering, combining the fundamentals of chemical and process engineering. The programme shares its first four years with the BEng route, with flexibility to choose between the two at the end of the fourth year. The final year includes advanced courses, an extensive research project, and a commercial tender-based exercise, along with student membership of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
