BSc Mathematics with French
Entry requirements
A level: BBB (B in Maths and French required) IB: 28 points. Must include Maths and French achieved at Higher Level 5. Highers: ABBBB (over two sittings). Must include Maths achieved at A and French at B. BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM. Must be in a relevant subject and contain sufficient Maths. HNC: B in graded unit. Must be in a relevant subject and contain sufficient Maths at SCQF Level 6. HND: BB in graded units. Must be in a relevant subject and contain sufficient Maths at SCQF Level 6.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics and Modern Languages, combining mathematical theory with modern language studies. Core topics include Statistics and Mathematical Modelling. The programme includes the opportunity to study mathematics at the University in Pau, France during the third year. Students also complete activities including presentations, independent research reports, and group problem-solving.
