Entry requirements

A level: BBB (BB in Physics and Maths required (in any order)) IB: 30 points. Must include Physics and Maths, both at Higher Level 5. Highers: AAAB (over two sittings). Must include Physics and Maths, with one at A. BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Physics and Maths. HNC: A in graded unit. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Physics and Maths. HND: BB in graded unit. Must be relevant science subject including sufficient Physics and Maths.

MPhys in Physics. Core topics include statistics. The programme includes modules in biology, chemistry, and mechanical engineering alongside physics and mathematics. Students undertake a substantial individual research project in the final years, and a 4-year MPhys option is available for those meeting additional entry requirements.
