Entry requirements

A level: BBC (B in Maths required) IB: 30 points. Must include Maths achieved at Higher Level 5. Highers: AABB (over two sittings). Must include Maths achieved at B. BTEC Extended Diploma: DMM. Must be in an engineering relevant subject and contain sufficient Maths. HNC: B in graded unit. Must be in an engineering relevant subject and contain sufficient Maths at SCQF Level 6.

About this course

MEng in Civil Engineering, with a focus on structural engineering. The programme covers major branches of civil engineering including materials, structures, geotechnics, water engineering, and transportation engineering. Early years focus on analysis and behaviours of materials, with a shift towards structural design and management in later years.
